Company formation and advice
From choosing a company form to the Business ID, permits, bank account and Procountor onboarding. We plan a clear path from the first steps through every financial year that follows – we stay with you the whole way.
What we help with
We help you set up a company from start to finish: choosing the right company form, obtaining a Business ID, tax registrations, a bank account, and insurance. After incorporation we handle ongoing administration — VAT returns, payroll, and annual accounts — so you can focus on your business. We serve you in Finnish, English, and Chinese.
We plan a clear path from choosing the company form and registration to launching the business.
Once the company is up and running, we keep obligations and finances under control.
Founding in 6 steps
Setting up a company in Finland follows six steps: Business ID and registration, tax registrations (VAT and prepayment), a company bank account, insurance, setting up the financial system, and branding for market entry. We walk through every step with you.
We help you choose the most suitable company form, prepare the founding documents and handle the filings to the PRH and the Tax Administration. This way the company gets its Business ID smoothly and can officially start operating in Finland.
After founding we handle the VAT, prepayment and employer registrations. We assess your needs and file on time, so compliance is in place right from the start.
In Finland banks' KYC and AML processes can be strict and an account may require a lot of background documentation. We prepare the necessary documents and support the communication with the bank, so the account is opened smoothly.
Liability insurance, statutory accident insurance for employees and the entrepreneur's YEL obligations. We map the risks and size the cover correctly – no needless costs and no dangerous gaps, so the business withstands unpleasant surprises too.
We connect the company to the Procountor system and build a smooth routine in which bookkeeping, reporting and VAT and employer obligations are handled correctly and on time. Your financial situation is clear and predictable from the start.
We build the brand's visual identity (logo, colours, typography), produce marketing materials and help build visibility online and locally – so you are noticed and trusted right from the start.
Contracts and filings
At every stage of the company you need the right documents and precise filings. We offer an ongoing company-secretary service: standardised contract templates, systematic archiving, and statutory filings submitted on time.
Restaurant permits
Opening a restaurant involves registering your food premises, creating a self-monitoring plan, and, if you serve alcohol, applying for a serving licence. We help you with the registrations and applications, draw up the self-monitoring plan together with you, and advise on staff qualification requirements.

Frequently asked questions
FAQA sole trader (toiminimi) is lighter to administer and qualifies for the 5% entrepreneur deduction; a limited company (Oy) requires no share capital (€0) but has heavier administration: double-entry bookkeeping and an annual financial statement. The entrepreneur's YEL minimum income is about €9,423/year (2026) regardless of company form. We help you choose the right form for your situation.
Registering a company in Finland: what you need and the full process →Founding a limited company requires at least one shareholder, a memorandum of association, articles of association and a trade register notification to the PRH (Patent and Registration Office); share capital is no longer required (€0). We can help you handle the Business ID, tax registrations and Procountor onboarding, so you can get to business sooner.
VAT registration is mandatory when turnover exceeds €20,000 per year (2026). Below that threshold you can register voluntarily, which is often worthwhile because you can deduct the VAT on your purchases. We handle the registration and assess whether voluntary VAT liability is worthwhile in your case.
On tax paid late, the Tax Administration charges late-payment interest (viivästyskorko), which is calculated automatically in MyTax (OmaVero) and confirmed annually (reference rate plus a margin); a tax increase (veronkorotus) may also be imposed. You can check the interest with the late-payment interest calculator on vero.fi. We monitor your liquidity monthly and help apply for a payment arrangement if needed.
An inspection looks at the integrity of the receipt trail, that income is fully recorded, and that VAT is correct. We keep the books under the Accounting Act: receipts stored, closed periods locked, every entry traceable. If an inspection comes, we gather the material, communicate with the Tax Administration and stand by you.
